University Ends Diploma Fraud with FaceLock Credentials

The university struggled with diploma fraud, where fake degrees were being used by job applicants. Employers had no reliable way to verify degree authenticity without contacting the registrar's office, creating administrative burden and enabling fraud.

FaceLock was deployed to issue biometrically-bound degree certificates. Graduates received both digital credentials (Apple Wallet/Google Wallet) and printed certificates, all containing FaceLock UR Codes that could be verified instantly by any employer using the free FaceLock Reader app.

Employers can now verify degrees instantly without contacting the university. The university reduced administrative burden while eliminating diploma fraud. Graduates can prove their credentials anywhere, anytime, even offline.
